Chacho, como te metas en sitios chungos te van a sacar hasta la talla de calzoncillos. Windows es lo más vulnerable que hay, y si alguien se obceca con tu IP no les costaría demasiado joderte la vida.
Para meterse en la deep web SIEMPRE como mínimo desde Linux o una máquina virtual. Si quieres ir sobre seguro usa VPNs.

"TOR is not and never will be safe. It is not safe for hiding from government entities, and it is not safe for downloading. First, you have to worry about the trustworthiness of end-nodes. There has been several articles about end nodes injecting into downloads, and other types of traffic. Second, it has been known for quite a while that TOR traffic can be theoretically deanyonmized. If something can be done in theory, you must expect that it may be done in practice. You should TOR through a VPN, this has multiple benefits. One you are ensured good end-to-end encryption. Two, you benefit from hiding the fact that you are using TOR from your ISP, and any sniffers between you and the web resources you are accessing.
Lastly, unless you are doing something worthwhile for a government to put in the effort in deanoymizing you, you have absolutely nothing to worry about in this regard. This is the very common misconception since the recent NSA "revelations". If you do something worth investigating, then you may have reason for concern; However, in that case you should be taking other precautions that will make the deanonymization of your TOR activity minimal in your detection."

También depende de para qué vayas a usar TOR. Si te metes en hispachan, 8chan y similares no hay problema porque son sitios "sanos", pero como te metas en sitios de CP, tráfico de drogas u otras actividades muy perseguidas probablemente acabes con la Guardia Civil yendo a tu casa con una orden judicial.
Si quieres hacer el guarro ya te puedes asegurar un buen VPN de los caros (con una encriptación sólida) tunelado a través de otro VPN y con el portátil enganchado al wifi de alguien del pueblo de al lado, pero con un Linux optimizado para la seguridad (Tails es una distro muy limpia para eso) e incluso con la dirección MAC spoofeada por si acaso. Así se lo pones difícil para saber qué tráfico pasa por tu ordenador, pero si te quieren pillar lo harán, te lo aseguro.
